The websites fastlocks.info and locksmiths247.ie are running a bait-and-switch scam.
They advertise unrealistically low prices — €49, €39, or even €29 — to lure you in. Once on-site, they inflate the bill drastically, often to €500–€1,500+.
The Irish Locksmith Organisation (ILO), An Garda Síochána, and the Private Security Authority (PSA) have issued formal warnings about these fraudulent locksmiths.
